Manage Mapped Fields

The ProFundCom system can take data from any other system that is able to export contact data in a Comma Separated Value (CSV) format. There are cases where there is not a direct mapping between the contact data and the way that the data is held within ProFundCom. To match the mapping between the CSV file and the ProFundCom system, the settings section of the ProFundCom system has the tool below.
 

 

In this example the Entry for Full Name is not exactly the same as the data in the CSV data fields. In the CSV file we are uploading via the Upload wizard, the data is held under the heading of Contact. To make sure that the mapping is correct the entry is set to Contact and not to Full Name.

 

 

To change the mapped data simply fill in the required box with the data title in the CSV file and click on the Update Mapped Fields button.

 

1. In this example we will change the Address mapping for Address 2 and Address 3 from each being Address, to Address 2 and Address 3.

 

2. In the boxes for Address 2 and Address 3 change the mapping to the desired value.

 

 

3. Click on the Update Mapped Fields and the fields are updated.
