Embedding the Mail Merge Document

To embed and populate the fields in to the pdf document which requires the mail merge follow the steps below.

 

1. Upload the mail merge template into the ProFundCom Library. In this example the file is Japan New Announcement.

 

2. Select Templates from the top menu from with ProFundCom

 

From the template list, click on Enable Document Factory.

 

 

3. Select the template that requires to be edited but clicking on the Edit function for the corresponding template.

 

 

4. From the screen below select the fields from the section Document Factory PDF Field Merge which are to be used to populate the pdf - in this case the document Japan New Announcement.

 

 

In the settings illustrated below the document Japan New Announcement will have all the fields in it merged with the recipient's companies details.

 

 

4. Clicking on Insert Document Link will embed the link in the template.

 

 

5. The link is embedded in email as below.

 

 

6. The pdf with the fields populated appear once the link Japan New Announcement is clicked.
